“Kristen spent her early years admiring, capturing, and sharing the beauty of the world through photography. Through stained glass, pottery, jewelry, and other artistic ventures, Kristen enjoyed adding beauty into the world. After graduation, Kristen spent several years running restaurants, while continuing her pursuit of art in her free time. After realizing that running restaurants was not in her heart, Kristen sought out a career that would allow her to make beautiful art as well as help people feel good about themselves. After touring Paul Mitchell –The School, she knew that she had found her passion. After graduating from the advanced Phase II program, Kristen became a licensed cosmetologist in 2011. After cultivating her abilities for 3 years in Ferndale, she has expanded her skills from the most basic raw talent to a true artist of hair and make-up. Kristen excels in many aspects of beautification including: make-up, lash application, extensions, and fashion colors. Don’t let the tattoo’s scare you!! Not only is she as sweet as they come, but Kristen can rock out all hair types and styles. She is as comfortable doing a head of perfectly placed highlights as she is creating a neon blue mohawk. While color is a strong point, her real passion is styling, especially bridal and vintage up-do’s.
